Cannot parent authorise a new child Xbox account?

I'm not 100% sure in what you are trying to achieve here. I presume you are trying to create a Microsoft Family?

After you have created your sons account, you need to add it to your own account to create the family group. Have you tried using the Xbox family app?

This is an excellent way of making sure your account, your son's account and the family group are working and connected correctly.

New parental settings were brought out November/December so if you're account is a child account, you would need parental authorisation. Xbox accounts will only acknowledge original date of birth on creation. The date of birth can not be altered once set.

If your account is a child account your gonna need to ask your parents to authorise the payment. The games classification rating is probably preventing you.

You cannot change the parent account attached to a child account after it has been created. The only managing you can do is completely remove the relationship, but you cannot add a new parent to the child after that. Sorry for the confusion.

Have a parental account or use a xbox 360

Child accounts cannot make purchases of m rated games without parental permissions on a consoke

And the xbox one parental settings aren't compatible with xbox 360 as there is no unrestricted settings that's why it cannot be made on the xbox one on child accounts

So the xbox one uses the Web interface not the 360
