Cannot open menu to redeem code

    Cannot open menu to redeem code


    when I go to redeem code to add MS points it' just a black screen .. also happens when I go into games

    (god i shouldn't be helping you...supporting that team!. arrrggghhh Cannot open menu to redeem code :) )

    I had the same problem, which was really confusing for me to start with, I couldn't do anything online because the xbox one wanted me to accept updated terms and conditions to start with, when it did this I got a error which stopped me connecting to live, and although I could browse the web I couldn't get on the live service

    to get round this I went to the xbox live account on my pc and accepted them there - it then worked instantly.

    however from previous threads it seems like your already on live.

    please try the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait until the power supply light turns and remains orange for at least 30 seconds before powering on again:
    Restart or Power Cycle Xbox One Console

    Keep in mind that you can also redeem a code via xbox.com/redeemcode

    No you cannot carry anything over. Enter the Uplay code via the Redeem Code (Guide Button, Scroll Left) and the Exclusive Content is redeemed via Downloadable Content option on Main Menu.

    I found official Xbox information that can help you, you just have to keep in mind that every Xbox code must have 25 characters, so below I am going to present the steps to follow to redeem the code for Xbox.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide, then select Store.
    Press the View  button to open the side menu, then select Redeem.
    Enter the 25-character code, select Next and follow the instructions.
