Cannot move my gamertag to new microsoft account.

This 30 day period can be one of 3 things.



1: You have already moved your account within the past 30 days.

2: Your account is less then 30 days old.

3: You have downloaded your account onto a device / console in the past 30 days.



Your issue is most likely caused by number 3, which means you have downloaded your profile from Xbox LIVE in the last month. This process resets the 30 day timer, what you would need to do is wait for the 30 day period to pass by and then make the transfer
then.



You should have no issues at that point.

Unfortunately you cannot unlink accounts - what is recommended here is to make a third "dummy" account, and use it to move your profile as follows:

"Old" Email

"New" Email

"Dummy" Email.

Move your gamertag from "New" Email to "Dummy" Email. Then move your gamertag from "Old" Email to "New" Email. At this point you can then just trash Dummy email, and your new email will have your old gamertag

At this time the gamertags cannot be moved to new accounts. Sorry.

You cannot transfer between DLC between accounts, however you can create a new Microsoft Account with your new preferred email and then move your gamertag over to that new Microsoft Account on your console by going to Settings>Account>Account Security>Change
Microsoft Account. This way your gamer profile will be intact, and you will be signing in with your actual preferred email. Keep in mind though that if your new Microsoft Account is a 3rd party email (a non-Microsoft email server), then there might be a waiting
period to be able to associate a new gamertag to it (30 days usually). If your other email address is already a Microsoft Account, then just move that gamertag on over to it with the instructions above

****Make sure that you have the new Microsoft Account established BEFORE you initiate the gamertag switch on your console!

More than likely you've accidentally created a new gamertag overtop the existing one. Now, first off, we cannot help with this as you must do this yourself.
