    cannot make xbox purchases from console or PC


    Multiple purchase attempts for family member using unexpired credit card (and a different credit card, and paypal) FAIL:

    https://account.microsoft.com/family/settings/spending/ --> microsoft account balance --> add money

    Error message is

    Contact us at Microsoft support

    We're having trouble processing your payment and we'd like to get it sorted out

    We purchased $100 from PC and everything worked fine, then tried to purchase another $50 and purchases have failed ever since.

    We changed payment methods, same result. Tried from xbox console, same result.

    The error message suggests contacting MS support, but doesn't tell how.

    On support.xbox.com, payment issues (what are you having trouble with - "subscriptions and billing"..... what's the issue - "i need help purchasing content") yields the answer:

    Phone calls and chats aren't available for this issue.

    So, we seem to be stuck in an endless loop: 1. contact microsoft support, 2. you can't contact microsoft support for this issue.

    Same error just happened to me. purchase billing 9022xxxxx even thought I made a purchase yesterday without any problem with the same card.

    I re entered the card details, tried another card both on Xbox one console or Xbox.com no luck. So stupid that I now have to look for third party website to buy my membership....

    Same here, on both console and PC, for 3 days now I cannot purchase any points, tried different credit cards and paypal, it just always says 'cannot process request at this time" or on console says 'cannot get information from xbox live'

    You would have to purchase the PC version of the game in order to play it on PC, which is not available through the Microsoft store. Progress from the console cannot be transferred to the PC version.

    Already working through that option. So far the escalation team has been less than stellar. Only workaround I've found is to use the Local Currency option in the meantime, hope this resolves itself.

    PS Escalation team informed me that there we no locks/blocks on the account.

    There could be a possible risk block (either from Microsoft or from your bank), I would call support and double check that there is not a risk block on your account :)
