Cannot login to the AT&T uverse app

I moved my Xbox to a TV with no cable box and I'm trying to use the U-Verse App to watch TV.

After installing, the app asks you to log in through Edge. You click the button and the network signs you in to U-Verse in Edge automatically. And then... Nothing happens. You go back to the app and it still asks you to sign in. I repeated this half a dozen
times, still no luck.

I did some Googling and couldn't find any suggestions. Someone on the AT&T support forums seemed to have this same problem, but the AT&T rep replied with some non-answer about the old STB Xbox 360s.

Has anyone gotten this app to work successfully? Or do you have any suggestions on getting it to work?

AT&T UVerse App

Well, this last weekend I took my Xbox One back home, and hooked it to the same gateway that my accout,and TV service is tied to,and still no "Live TV" tab, even though the screenshots of the app in the Xbox One Apps Store clearly shows a Live TV tab.

Nice false advertising there.

 

AT&T UVerse App

Just stumbled across this today, and my eyes lit up when I looked at the screenshots and seen a Live TV section. Since I'm displaced for the time being,and living with my father who is in poor health, I figured that I finally had a way to watch my UVERSE
Channels on a TV, instead of my phone. However when I opened the app, and logged in with my credentials, the Live TV section is nowhere to be found. I can only watch On Demand shows.

Is the Live TV section just not up yet, or is it an issue with me being logged in with my account, but wired to my dad's UVerse internet? I wouldn't think that would be a problem since I connect to his WiFi and can still stream my UVerse TV through my Android
UVerse app.
