    Cannot log into xbox live on PC

    This is the message I get when I try to log into live on xbox app. I tried my friend's account and I was able to log in, but I cannot log in with my own account - I hope someone can help me diagnose the issue:

    Hi SimplexPL,

    There are several reasons as to why you can't sign in to your Xbox account using the Xbox app on Windows 10. In some cases, this could be due to a corrupted profile that is currently associated with the app. Can you tell us if this is the first time that
    you're trying to set up your Xbox account on the Xbox app? If not, may I know if you recently changed your account password?

    If you recently changed your account password, it is important that you update it on the Xbox app by removing the account. To do that, I suggest that you perform the following steps:

    1. Press the Windows key on your keyboard, and then click the Settings icon.
    2. Select System, and then select Apps & features.
    3. Locate the Xbox app, and then click on Advanced options.
    4. Click Reset.
    5. Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

    Once done, launch the Xbox app and try to sign in your account again.

    Let us know if that works for you.

    Which region are you located in currently and what region is your account set to? If these don't match as well as if your clock is set incorrectly on the PC, an error like this can occur.

    Which region are you located in currently and what region is your account set to? If these don't match as well as if your clock is set incorrectly on the PC, an error like this can occur.

    Is cancellation the only option?

    On my son's computer, it says he cannot purchase and it cannot send a message to me, so it gives the message "please ask a parent and use the words please". Cute if it would allow me to do this.

    Logging into my account it shows I have Xbox Ultimate; I only want PC on my log in as I do not play all the games he does. I am fine with paying for Ultimate and PC as two subscriptions just do not see that as an option anywhere.

    You can but with only one pc

    You would have to.be logged into the xbox gamepass app with your account this means you cannot use it on your console.nor another pc as you can only be logged into your account at one device
