Cannot log into Xbox Live

I have been playing the daily Challenges and events in the Microsoft Solitaire Collection for many years. Yesterday, I installed the June 2021 quality updates to my Windows 10 20H2 system. Later on, I played the daily events, so I was able to log in automatically.

Today, when I tried to play the daily challenges, I could not log on. The notice said that there is a problem communicating with the xbox live service. the error code is 1170000. I checked the status page which said that maintenance was being performed.

A few hours later, I checked the status page again which reported everything was running. However, I still can't log in.

Microsoft support tried to solve the problem via chat after I tried all the suggestions on the support page. I tried even resetting the xbox and solitaire collection apps. Nothing has helped except I have lost all my achievements. I hope I can regain them when I finally can log in.

I tried logging in from a second computer in my house, but to no avail. I phoned my brother in Canada and he had no problem signing in.

I think that Microsoft's maintenance has caused this problem. I have an internet connection and everything else connected to my Microsoft account is connected and working.

Please Help.

Hi

There is no specific game - I cannot log into XBOX live.

The Xbox.com/live status says all is working but I cannot log into live

I have :

Cleared the cache

reset router

power cycled

Still not working

Thank you for your help. I submitted a ticket to my ISP and am currently in queue with Microsoft support. This would be easier if I knew who's issue it was (Microsoft or the ISP). And I'm really hoping they both don't tell me that the other is the problem!

I've had the same problem for few days now. First it connects to Xbox live, then immediately disconnect me from Xbox live and tells me it can't connect to it, and wants me to test the network. The network tests always pass fine. Still can't connect to xbox
live.. Gold account. According to the status there are some issues with xbox live but they claim it only affects Minecraft. support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-status
