    Cannot log into Microsoft account on store/minecraft, asks to enter password, entering...


    Once you enter the password it loads for a few seconds then asks for the password to be entered again.

    Tried resetting the store app, this then prompts me to setup windows hello for the account, clicking next on this goes back into the enter password loop

    Cannot setup hello through windows settings as this is not a work/school account. Disabling Require Windows hello does not work to prevent this pop up.

    Creating a new user is not an option as I need to log in with the details for the account my minecraft account is on, do not suggest this. The other microsoft account I have works fine, but this one is broken.

    Password has been reset twice, 2FA has been enabled & disabled & passwordless entry has been enabled & disabled. The account does not appear in the credentials manager and removing it from the Email & Accounts tab does not work

    Everywhere online that has other people with this issue has vastly different resolutions, none of which are actually confirmed to work.

Generally, if you are using a local account, you will be asked to enter your last local account password to use Microsoft products. If you have not set a password for your local account, please select "Yes" when you log in without entering a password.
