    Generally speaking, my Microsoft Account works perfectly, however there is one specific site I cannot log into, and it's pretty important for Xbox warranty management:

    The error I receive is:

    Device repair

    My Microsoft devices

    We’re sorry, but something went wrong on our end. Please try again later. (1m5HnM2hCIkM2MXT.0)



    The error code number in parenthesis varies with each attempt. What I expect to see when logging in is all of the Microsoft devices already registered to my account by serial number, and a 'plus
    sign' which allows new devices to be added. This is the site that allows you to see/manage your device warranty status, request and track warranty repairs, etc.



    This has been occurring for many months now, so I have definitely waited to try again later. I have tried to access the site from multiple browsers and entirely different computers and always have
    the same failure. Again the specific code varies each time, but the general result is always the same; I cannot see or manage any of my registered devices, of which there are many (Surface devices, Xbox 360/One, etc).



    All of this leads me to believe the problem is related to my account, so I contacted support via chat (Helena Marie B). Support was unable to assist and I insisted on escalating so I was referred
    to Microsoft Account support. They were also unwilling/unable to assist me and closed my case - SRX1387403270ID



    I must be able to manage my device's warranties/repairs once more...Please help, thanks!

    Account Reset After A Few Years

    You should be able to log in on that site with the email and password associated with your account.

    The only other thought I have would be that your account was accessed without your knowledge during the time you were not using it. If that's possible you may want to contact support and open an unauthorized access case.

    Unable to change my Microsoft account on my gamertag; entering my password incorrectly receives an "Password is not valid" prompt

    I am willing to attempt this solution, however, I want to be sure first that this will not cause me to lose access to my gamertag altogether. My microsoft account is blocked, so I have no way to log into it on xbox.com or any other site. I am currently using
    a different account to message on the forum.

    Permanent banning

    If you can't log in at xbox.com or support.xbox.com I can't think of any way that you could recover your account. To even contact Xbox support you need to be able to log in at support.xbox.com. You may have been banned form Xbox Live services as a whole, but not Microsoft as a whole. At this point in time, I do not see any way to recover your account from a permanent ban if you cannot access the websites.

    If you had received an email, you could have perhaps replied, and the fact that you have access to your Microsoft account means the entirety of your account has not been banned.

    If you contact Microsoft Support, I would ask them to troubleshoot your ability to go to xbox.com and the enforcement site and if nothing else gets you access, then there is no other way.

    You can try contacting them through here: Contact Us - Microsoft Support or calling them, but if they cannot get you to access the sites, this permanent ban may be irreversible.
