Cannot launch games or apps with Live profile

Ok, so I have what seems to be a very weird issue with my Xbox Live profile. This just started yesterday.

I tried to load Arkham Origins last night, and when I did, it went to a black screen and would not proceed. I clicked the Xbox button and selected Home, and it froze. I thought this was odd, so I shut down the console, restarted, signed in with my profile (no
issue), then tried again. Same thing happened. Shut down, restart, signed in again. Tried to load an arcade game instead. Same thing. Shut down, restarted, sign in, tried launching Netflix. Same thing. I checked on my profile, it's not showing as corrupted,
and as I said, I can sign into Live without issue. I see everything that I should be seeing, I just can't launch anything.

On a whim, I decided to try and launch the game with another profile, one of my Silver guest accounts. Boom, launched without problem. So I signed out of that, signed in with my Live account, launched the game, and it loaded. Played for a bit, then shut down.
About an hour later I logged in with my Live account again, tried to start the game, same issue as before. On a whim, I decided to sign out, try the Silver account again, and sure enough, it loaded. Signed out, signed in with the Live account, tried the game,
and it loaded.

So whatever is going on here seems to be linked to my Live profile, but there doesn't seem to be a corruption. I can see all of my DLC, my saves, everything. It just won't launch games or apps, but a Silver account on the same console will. As a precaution
I copied all my important game saves to a USB stick and saved my I Am The Night game file to the could as well (If I lost that, I'd probably cry. Seriously. And I'm 41, so this is no laughing matter )

Has anyone heard of this issue? If so, is there a fix? Should I delete my profile from the console and recover it, or is there another method I should try first?

Xbox is pretty much dysfunctional.

I cannot detect wireless connections on my Xbox, and cannot connect to Xbox Live as a result. Also, I cannot launch games or apps because they claim that they took too long to start. Pretty much cannot do anything.

 

Unable to download app for a profile

Hi, i have 2 live profiles on my xbox 360.

1 profile with hotmail email, got only 1 tab for games and apps (combined).i cannot install app on this profile. The bing tab is also not present.

1 more profile with gmail account, got 2 seperate tabs for games, and apps. I can install app on this profile and the bing tab is there.

Can i customize the tabs? Seperate them if possible, at least how to download app for the hotmail profile.

Also, i tried to do the live chat support, my 1st and last name are not populated, hence i cannot proceed with support.

Help please. Thank you.

 

So it would seem I'm not the only one experiencing this, and the temporary solution is to play offline.

here in these posts by Mister Rush, please let us know if they help you.
