Cannot launch Flight Simulator

Discus and support Cannot launch Flight Simulator in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I am trying to launch Flight simulator. The game is supposed to be 147gb which I do have.     Cannot launch Flight Simulator


    I am trying to launch Flight simulator.

    The game is supposed to be 147gb which I do have.

    It only downloads a fraction of that and then the xbox app says that the game is ready.

    I click launch and I get a black screen (mouse pointer is changed) and then nothing. The app version on the title bar is 1.19.8.0

    How can I play this game?

    Why did they downgrade Microsoft flight sim 2020?

    It's the strategy of the Asobo Studio. This stupid studio deceived the gamers and downgraded the game to sell Microsoft Flight Simulator 2022 or whatever. I cannot even believe how the Microsoft directors made such decision.

    You know what? Microsoft Flight Simulator 2022 will have the same graphic with the initial launching of MS Sim 2020.

    Actually I managed to fix it...

    I had to force the 21h1 update. For some reason windows update would not update to it.

    Now everything works
