Cannot launch: Fallout New Vegas

If you have previously played Fallout New Vegas, you are probably aware of the freezing issues when loading a game save. I've encountered this particular issue rather frequently and I was determined it was something to do with the game itself, therefore
I deleted the game from my Xbox HDD and downloaded it again from the Xbox marketplace, my problem being since I have downloaded the game again, it works however I can only start the game if I am currently signed into Xbox Live, without an active internet connection,
I am displayed with the error message 'Error: Cannot launch: Fallout New Vegas'.

You may be thinking along the lines of licenses, well when I originally purchased the game, I bought it directly from the Xbox marketplace therefore I had a digital copy of the game, I am using the same Xbox Live account and same Xbox for that matter, yet
now I am unable to play the game offline which I was previously able to do, has anyone got any suggestions as to how I can resolve this?

New Fallout game coming anytime soon?

I hope so! I enjoyed Fallout 3, but LOVED Fallout New Vegas. I'm pretty sure something Fallout-related will be announced at E3. Cannot wait!

 

Cannot purchase

I cannot purchase Fallout New Vegas it says Sorry Your purchase cannot be made at this time. Please try again.

 

Perhaps your hard drive is malfunctioning, if you play your xbox often your hard drive can get confused and save unnesacery data therefore clogging up your hard drive. Getting a hard drive wipe or getting a professional to clean the unessacery data off of
it.

 

It sounds like you would need to do a license transfer. I know you mentioned that you downloaded the game on your Xbox, but perhaps you've never actually changed the license. It's really simple. support.xbox.com/.../download-content
