    Cannot launch a enforcement case review despite being given a 28 hour ban


    So i recieved a 28 hour 'communications' ban on July 8th 2017, from 20:25 until 00:25 on July 10th 2017 (28 hours). Xbox's own enforcement site says bans over 24 hours are eligable for a case review to be submitted. Yet i can't do this because that option
    just does not exist for me.

    Before i go any further i should explain why i got the ban in the first place.



    I was playing Rainbow six seige and a supposed teammate of mine deliberated barricaded up a door blocking me and 1 other teammate in a room whilst we building a wall reinforcement. Just before he built the barricade he thrown in a gas bomb and proceded
    to gas us to death like some poor jews. (No offence intended) Now quite rightly i was very angry at this, so i messaged him and did call him a ''**** idiot", i don't contest this i did say it.

    However, firstly we are playing a 18+ rated game, and if you're going to deliberately team kill you should accept some 18+ language in response. Xbox should know this, its common sense, and it should not be bannable.

    Secondly, the guy in question messaged me saying he reported me, at the exact same time i got banned. INSTANTLY. Surely Xbox should investigate before dishing out bans, what happened to innocent until proven guilty??

    Thirdly, i am Xbox customer of 6 yrs, i have never recieved any form of ban or suspension before, I also have a good reputation aswell. In my eyes a 28 hours 'communication' ban for a 1st time offence is abit excessive, would 12 hours max not be surfice
    or even a warning.

    And finally Xbox say its a 'communications' ban yet i can't play pro clubs on fifa 17 because the way the ban has effected my account settings im now ineligable to play pro clubs. So its not a 'commuications' ban then is it, because its preventing me
    from playing some online game modes.

    Overall i think the entire xbox enforcement team and rules to be amended. Below are my ideas of what could change.

    > Bans should only be handed our after a human has looked (in this case) at the chat and the game both parties where on at the time and decide if a ban is warrented and if so what a a resomable amoumt of time would be, for this the players history should
    be taken into account too. If you're playing a 18+ rated game then explicet language should be allowed (with in reason) baring in mind that everyone play that game 'should' be 18+. - If Xbox feel they can't have such a system in place then they shouldn't be
    so anal about hand out bans.

    > Theres needs to be a proper appeal system in place if players feel they have been unfairly banned or too harshly punished. During the appeal process the ban shall be lifted until the appeal is concluded.

    > Bans on specific things such as communications need to be made to effect the players ability to play online game modes, given this is not meant to be part of the ban.

    > A warning system to be in place for first time offenders or people who don't offend. You only get 1 warning every 6 months after that 1 warning is gone, then you get bans. (Communications offenses only)

    Is there no way to contact the enforcement team outside of a case review inquiry, which the page is not allowing me to submit, despite my son's ban being longer than 24 hours.

    Thanks for the canned response. I cannot submit a case review because it's a 24-hour ban that lasts for about 28. Go figure. I'll just say that I'm thoroughly disappointed in this process. Had I actually harassed anyone or verbally assaulted them, I would
    take my lumps and move on. But calling someone a peasant? Give me a break, Microsoft... This actually makes me consider if I want to continue utilizing Xbox as my #1 platform. I'm sure Phil Spencer would be embarrassed by this "enforcement action team".

    Actually you have to be rated e for everyone

    Being a m rated game has no bearing on your suspension or violation

    And there is no 28hour suspension

    First.suspensions are 24hours

    Game ratings are only for the game itself. Everything done on Live has to remain E for everyone. The enforcement team (a group of humans) does investigate each complaint they receive. Your warning is the code of conduct/terms of service you agree to when
    you sign up. It doesn't matter how long you've been a customer, everyone is subject to the same rules.

    Unless they got some super humans that can investigate within less than a few seconds then the humans arent investigating each complaint, my ban was instant and despite being 24hrs + i cant even launch a case review.

    As for the who E for everyone, thats ridiculous. Xbox might aswell just ban all games that arent PG then from being used on xbox.

    Since when did xbox become some nazi like speech police anyway, they never used to be this anal over communications.

    No one can get someone suspended or banned. If someone reports another person, that report is then investigated. If the gamer is found to have done something wrong, then they are banned or suspended by the enforcement team. If you want to find out why your
    child was suspended or banned, you need to log in with the account on
    enforcement.xbox.com


    If you cannot start a case review, then the suspension is probably only 24 hours. Any suspensions that are 24 hours cannot be given a case review, as it takes longer than 24 hours to investigate the claim.
