: Cannot Join Xbox Live via TP-Link TL-SG1005D Switch
I'm not happy with the Xbox Live performance on my Wifi setup so I'm trying to get my Xbox hard wired. However, when connecting to my TP-Link TL-SG1005D, it won't connect to Xbox Live. When I connect the Xbox directly to my cable modem (ARRIS SURFboard
SB6190), it joins without any issue.

I reached out to TP-Link support and they indicated that this model doesn't support any custom configurations and is meant to be Plug & Play. Any ideas on what I can do to get this working as expected?

Update with additional details: after unplugging the power supply to the TL-SG1005D and plugging it back in, I connect to Xbox Live. However, my WiFi stops working (I have an ethernet cable running from the switch to my Apple Airport Extreme) so that's not
really a viable solution. Once I power cycle my modem, my internet is restored but I'm back to not being connected to Xbox Live. Seriously confusing.
