cannot join xbox live parties on xbox one

our internet went out for 2 day .since it has come on I can not join xbox live parties .its my network settings are blocking it.i have rang internet provider they saying its xbox.i think we need to change from ivp4 to ivp6.does anyone have any idea on this

Xbox Live Gold cancelled

Hi, my account says that my Xbox live gold membership has been cancelled. I cannot access deals or free games with gold, however I can still join Xbox live parties and join online games.

try to power cycle your console. Please hold down the power button on the front of the console for approximately 15 seconds until the power light shuts off. Wait about 60 seconds, then power it back on. Be sure you see the green "XBOX ONE" animation loading

I'm sorry to hear about the situation that you have found yourself in.

Since you're not able to join parties and you're using an Xbox One, then what I would do is follow the steps here on "I can't hear my friends online,
or I can't join or host a multiplayer game with my Xbox One".

Give that support page a look through and let us know if any of those steps helped in resolution of the issue

Have you did a hard reset on your console and when its fully shutdown and unplug the power cord as well pull your router for 30 seconds?

Having the exact same problem! I cannot start a party, I cannot join a party and I cannot view parties. I cannot view my social feed, change my status to appear online or access key Xbox live settings. I keep receiving the [0x800C0008] error code when I
try to start parties and "There is a temporary problem with the service. Please try again." when trying to access Xbox live settings.

Am also having this issue since the update. Cannot join parties, cannot invite people to party i've started either. Error message, 'can't connect to xbox live party'. Can join game invite and can invite people to game without any issues. Will try the above
when I get home, fingers crossed.
