Cannot join with friend due to his bad rep

Hello,

Me and my friend cannot join any multiplayer match in Gears of War 4. The reason seems to be that my friend has a bad reputation. I know how he got this and it is really ridicolous.

He was winning online too much in Halo. After he left the game I was still on and heard the following from the group we played with: "Let's report him, such that he gets a bad reputation. Ask also your friends to do this".

Now we checked why we couldn't join any game and on that day he got several reports. That day he good in avoid me. This is just crazy as now we cannot play together. Just because some kids thinks it is fun to report good players.

As I life close where he lifes we did a chat with the support team together. They said you can get better reputation if you play online. But this is not possible as we cannot join team deathmatch in Gears of war 4. Its just like a saying "email me if your
email account is not working to get it working again".

Why is there not a way to report him positively? You can give any negative feedback which rally damage someone. We have a lot of friends on xbox who wants to give him positive feedback but this seems not enough.

I think the whole reputation system can be abused by stupid kids who want to take revenge as they lost. We also searched on the internet and found that this happens very often to good players. We have both Xbox for more then 10 years (even the first one),
but we are forced to buy a PS4 when we want to play together. To be hones we are so frustrated that we really consider this option.

Please fix the Xbox one reputation system. It can be easily abused by groups who want to do hurt good players. Or make it fair that you can help a good player by allowing positive feedback

False negative rep review - anyone else have this happen?

Rep is meaningless (& its a good job to looking at the state of mine) Im surprised you have lasted this long without it happening before. people bad rep others all the time. 1 bad vote = 25% seems a bit strange but maybe he got his friends to bad rep you
too.

 

Bad Rep (Misused Against Me)

so recently i have been given the bad rep curse and i cannot join any matchmade games, i fully beleive this is because of misuse of the reporting system (Due to 9 reports based on unsporting conduct, i beleive this because i have been going for 100 rumble
wins and winning 99% of matches and then obviously the other guys report me) but now i am stuck without being able to find any games and there is no way your rep gets fixed on xbox it is so broken, you cant even leave good rep on your friends xbox profile
aymore! please fix this as it is a horrible system that punishes skilled players!

 

The rep depends on how other gamers rate your behavior online and it takes several reports to end up with a bad rep. The suggestion of the support team is spot on as the best way to get out of a bad rep is to play as many coop games as you can with a large
number of players (forget about death matches and so on for a while). Try to not get over aggressive, play clean and after a while your friend will have a better rep and can join you online again.
