    Cannot join parties


    hi , I wonder if anyone can help me, I'm a mum trying to sort a problem out with my sons Xbox one, he cannot seem to join any of his friends parties or hear any of them , it's driving me crazy , I've tested the headset , seems ok, I've checked the Nat settings
    , it's set to open , I've checked all cables , looked up numerous trouble shooting and gone through all the settings and still cannot join a party , please help I'm not the best with technology

    PARTY CHAT BROKEN?!

    Ever since I had the update, my friends cannot join any of my parties and I cannot join theirs. Someone please help me.

    Does it mention anything about privacy settings when trying to join a party? If so, is your son's Xbox Live account a child of a parent account? It is possible that the parent account is blocking audio communication for your son's account. You can change
    what is allowed in your account's family settings.

    Restart your modem/router and remove the battery it required. If that doesn't work, try connecting you xbox via wired directly to the modem. Post results! Good luck!

    Am also having this issue since the update. Cannot join parties, cannot invite people to party i've started either. Error message, 'can't connect to xbox live party'. Can join game invite and can invite people to game without any issues. Will try the above
    when I get home, fingers crossed.
