    Cannot join Daughter's world on Minecraft Windows 10


    I have my daughter's Microsoft account as part of my family. However, we have a problem playing together on Minecraft Windows 10. She can join my worlds, but I can't join hers. This wasn't always the case. Over the past year, I was able to join one of her
    worlds maybe two weeks total and it switches back to her not being visible to me. Contacted Microsoft and was told that I needed to speak to XBox live Support. We are both running the same version of Minecraft and on the same network. I cannot even join her
    world via LAN.

    When she gets in one of her worlds, I click on the Friends tab and under Joinable Friends it says that none of my friends are online, despite her sitting next to me on her laptop and I can visually see that she is indeed online and ingame. We are friends
    on XBox Live and her Microsoft account shows up under Your Family on my Microsoft Account Page, but not XBox Live.

    Please help.

    Can not connect

    So it seems that every server I connect to on Minecraft windows 10 edition it tells me it cannot connect to world, anyone have any ideas why?

    Does anybody know y i can join my friends minecraft world but he cant join my world

    both computers are up to date on the minecraft game and both are the same version minecraft windows ten edition

    The microsoft xbox accounts has a lot of incomprehensible settings for online visibility and play,

    you should check these. The problem is that you will never get any messages explaining what went wrong, only invisibility or error.

    So... it appears you're having problems connecting to your friends worlds in Minecraft for Windows 10.

    I would have them check their in-game settings in Minecraft under the main menu there, and make sure that Online play is enabled. Sometimes this is switched to being disabled and therefore they cannot join any online games and friends cannot join their game
    either. Both you and your friends should check in Minecraft settings and make sure that Online play is enabled and friends are allowed to join. Then you can select which permissions you would like to enable for your friends when they join your world after
    that.

    I can join the Xbox from my Windows 10 not a problem. The problem is if I'm on the Windows 10 open world the Xbox cannot join me. Both are on the same Microsoft account but different licensing.

    Do you even have Windows 10? Clearly not because if you did you'd know how stuff worked, I have Windows 12 (staff release because of family) but it is the same as Windows 10, just like Windows Vista and 7. Anyway this isn't a Windows forum. Minecraft for
    PC should not be purchased, but rather Minecraft for Windows 10. Confusing, I know. Then, because of Windows 10 cross play, you would need to have your daughters account create a world, and then have the PC player join it.

    Minecraft Windows 10 "Cannot join world, currently playing on another device" error

    When I try to log into a server on minecraft windows 10 edition, I get the following message: "Cannot join world. The account you are signed in to is currently playing in this world on a different device." However, the tab says that there are 0 players
    online (which is normal for this server). I have tried signing out and signing back in and restarting my computer but I am met with the same message.

    What do I do?
    Having the same issue. I have played against my daughter many times and now suddenly I get the same message. It's on a LAN game.
