    CANNOT INSTALL GTA V


    I've tried installing GTA V for over a month now but nothing works. I've gone offline to install it like the support message said so but the game won't show up once I'm offline therefore I can't install it. I've tried being online as well but it's
    constantly stopping even though I've tried multiple sources of internet connections. I've restarted my console and cleared the cache & all that and still nothing. PLEASE HELP! GameStop just sold me a terrible game.

    Hey there RainboeSprinkle,

    To clarify, Is the same issue happening with multiple discs or just with GTA 5? It sounds like you've already done all of the steps we'd recommend, so if the issue is happening with multiple discs and not just GTA 5, your disc is likely defective and needs
    to be replaced. If the issue is happening with all discs, your console may need to be serviced. Just to be sure though, make sure you're trying the steps we have listed

    hi onyx, no because i can still play their games too, making their account my home console again. and it doesn't make sense that after getting another copy it still wont let me install.

    Thank you. Ok, we still need to confirm ownership for the game just in case. Please have your friend log in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders and search back to find the purchased game. If he cannot find the purchase on his account then that would be the problem and you'd need to find the owner of the game.

    In the meantime please try deleting your gamertag then powercycle the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds until it shuts down and unplug it for 5 minutes. Durng this time unplug your modem/router for at least 60 seconds to clear any issues there. When the internet is back up and running you can turn on the console, redownload your gamertag and try again.

    Thanks for letting me know. You would need to find out if that person still owns the game and can play it themselves. If they can they may need to log in and download it from their account
