Cannot install games on drive after Windows 11 re-installation

Hi All,

After having issues with my computer, i reinstalled Windows 11, after installing it i went to the Xbox App to see if it found my games but it didnt. These games were installed in a separate drive (G whereas my Operating system in in (C, The games are showing in the folders within File Manager (XboxGames Folder) however the Folder (WindowsApps) i cannot access, this has some games from the past before the Xbox App update to accessing the filesystem. Some of the game that are still within that folder are such as Halo Infinite and Froza Horizon 5. Problem is i cannot access this folder nor is the Xbox app allowing me to download the game and its giving me errors.

Within the folder ive got about 100gb worth of files/games in there which i cannot access or delete. Is thee anyways i can remove the folder so i can re-install the games?

If you didn't upgrade the operative system, and the installation of windows was from scratch, you're games won't be recognized, to be able to install again the games you need to regain ownership to the old system windowsapp folder

My PC is connected to the internet wireless. But I don’t think that’s the problem.

And before when I re-install the game, the error can still be fixed. But now it cannot be fixed even I re-install it.

Should I turn off the firewall? Or should install some runtime? By the way I’m using a Windows 11.

The XBOX app loads fine, but the games will not launch or install. When I click on the Play button nothing happens. When I click on install it just hangs at "preparing".

I re-installed Windows 11 from a USB drive on a wiped SSD.
