Cannot install games on D drive says it is not formated to NTFS.

Well, my problem just solved itself.

I was watching a hockey game and The Outer Worlds just sneakily installed themselves along with Stellaris. Could have been just a massive server overload then?

Edit: It still won't allow me to install new games, desperately trying to convince me my NTFS drive isn't formatted as NTFS.

And no, I can't use the "install to system drive, then move it elsewhere" method, because my system drive is nowhere near the required capacity for the big games.

This is an odd issue since all of my drives are NTFS bu the Xbox app does not see it that way!

I have this issue with really every game I try to install, not only outerworld (it's just that it's the one I want the most, but after the issue I've tested that in almost any game I saw).

I've tried the workaround seen below, it didn't work.

For some game, the xbox game pass says only D: isn't NTFS, and for others, it says both C: and D: aren't NTFS (and of course they're both NTFS). It's really weird. And useless to add that but I don't have the room on my C: for any major game (only 20 Go left
here)

I succeed to install only really small games like blazing chrome or metal slug, it's the only case where this issue didn't happen recently.

I still have to finish Gears 4 (I installed it before the bug) but if it's still bugged when i have finished, I'll stop my subscription for a while.

Now I'm recalling something, maybe it can help in any way: I think this issue appeared only after I uninstalled a game from the game pass (I think it was Dead Cells I uninstalled).

Oh, ok. Let's hope Microsoft will fix this soon.

This worked for me.

1. Go to Windows Settings

2. then Apps & features

3. find Xbox (Beta) and click on it

4. click on "Advanced options"

5. click on "Repair" under Reset

Sadly this did not fix it for me.
