Cannot get Xbox One games on Games with Gold without an Xbox One

I used to be able to get Xbox One games for free with my Games with Gold subscription. I could not download them, but I could build up my library for when I did finally purchase an Xbox One. I cannot seem to get them anymore.

The error I am receiving in the web portal is:

Where do you want to install?

It looks like you don’t have any applicable device(s) linked to your Microsoft account. To install, sign in on a device with your Microsoft account.

It just wont select the games in the Games With Gold app on the 360.

My xbox is linked to my account, I have been able to add them to my library in the past, and the documentation for Games With Gold says I can add them to my library.

if there are issues with the xbox services, the teams will do everything they can to resolve the issues asap

Thank you for your help. I have tried both of the suggested solutions, and neither of them will allow me to claim the games.

Is there any resolution on the horizon? I have not been able to claim these games for close to a month.

there is a issue with Xbox Live at the time, but you can try to use the gamepass app or go to xbox app and claim the games with gold from there. Also try at xbox.com and search the game with gold , , sign in and it should let you claim it

I believe there is currently an issue the team is working on to resolve at this time. Hopefully things should be back to normal soon!

Are you sure that it hasn't reddened the game to your account but just can't install it.

If you browse back to the game page in the store, does it show the you already own it?
