    Cannot get Xbox Live to work in Belize


    It is as if Belize does not exist for Xbox. The country is not even in the drop down menu. So I selected the nearest region they know...Mexico

    I bought my Xbox in Canada. Took it home to Belize. The 30 day complimentary subscription worked. Now I can not redeem any codes. I have bought codes in Canada, the USA and Mexico.

    Support does not seem to have a clue how to help and keep asking where Belize is!

    I have changed my region to Belize, tried Mexico, USA and Canada... nothing works.

    Anyone have an idea?

    cannot connect to xbox live

    hello. i cannot connect to xbox live. i have gone to the network settings and tested the xbox live connection and that works but when i try to sign in to my xbox live it wont sign in. i get a message saying that it cannot connect to xbox live when i try

    Hi there,

    officially it's not supported to use Xbox Live outside of the supported Xbox Live countries, the same for using codes not for your region.

    Regarding your situation, you may want to check what country/region your account is set too, it will show in the country/region field on this link:
    Sign in to your Microsoft account

    As far as I know when a code is regionally locked it will only work on the country to which your account is set to.

    Keep in mind that since you are not in a supported region you might keep running into issues.

    Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums. In regards to how you can purchase
    Xbox Live Gold     that works in Belize, have you tried making the purchase through the website? If that doesn't work, you may have to possible buy a Xbox Live Subscription card from your local retailer in order for it to work.
