Cannot get to Dashboard at all after reboot

This issue started last monday 5/5. I went to power on my xbox one. It sat on the Green start up Logo screen for about 8 minutes which is unusually long. then it switched to a black screen with white text that read at the top "System Error. Contact Xbox
Customer Support" Then restated the same phrase in several different languages. Below all of this was an Error code "E303 00000000 8007041D". I turned my xbox off and attempted to reboot again. Once again it Sat on the Green Screen for about 8-10 minutes
before switching to a Solid Black Screen. So I contacted Xbox support. The Support agent had me attempt several reboots and even had me attempt to use the Diagnostics Tool useing a flash drive. this was unsuccessful. after 2 hours on the phone and i would
say the 15th time rebooting the system as advised by the support agent. it finally went to dashboard after sitting on the green screen for about 5 minutes. i then went into settings to confirm the firmware version with him was up to date. He Then advised me
to switch the system into "instant On mode" as i originally had it on Power saver mode. we then pwered it off and on a few more times all of which took me right back to the dashboard. At this time i thought the issue was finally resolved and i ended the call
with him. I began playing a game for about an hour. I then noticed another issue. the xbox guide button on the controller would not take me back to dashboard or give me the option to turn off the console. If i held the button down for 5-6 seconds it would
only shut off controller. i then attempted to reboot my system again. Low and behold i was stuck again on the Black screen after the console sat on the Green xbox logo screen for 10 minutes. its now 8 days later and i have not been able to use my Xbox One
at all because i cant get past the black screen. since the initial Error message popped up last monday. it has popped up twice more after reboot.

Anyone else having same issue? any known fix besides sending it in to Xbox for repair???

    :)

Xbox live keeps prompting for update on 360

After testing some more - if I power off manually via the switch, coming back up it stays at the splash screen for a long time again, and then mentions corruption, reboots and back to the dashboard. Still get prompted for an update every time trying to
sign into xbox live, short download, reboot, back to dashboard - same state over and over.

Anything left to try or is this one need to be repaired/replaced (well out of warranty)

G'day Arcturas! Sorry to hear about the startup issues with that console. It sounds like you've done a lot of troubleshooting already but you're still seeing either the black screen, or the error code. Is it the identical code every time?

I'm going to recommend you walk through the steps in this
    system update troubleshooter
. It's very thorough and will lead you to the correct solution. There's a chance that your console requires repair. If that's the case, you can set up a repair order through our
    Online Service Center.

Please let us know how it goes! We'll be happy to help however we can.

I have this same issue, I did the system update trouble shoot and it informed me to take the system to a fedex and ship it back? I paid 800 dollars to gamestop for the games, controllers, and system when I purchased it. I have two jobs, and play the xbox
on my spare time (which is limited.) I paid for a system that was supposed to work, however this does not. Does Microsoft compensate it's customers for the time they spend "troubleshooting" and "returning" a product we invested our money in to?
