    Cannot get into Xbox Live due to Parent account being invalid.


    I've been trying to sign into my Xbox live profile on my Xbox 360 for 2 days, however I am unable to connect. Every time I do, a message pops up saying "Your parent's Microsoft account is not valid. Please change your parents Microsoft account." and it links
    to a website to help fix the issue (Xbox.com/fixid). I have been trying to sign into my account, create new parent accounts to see if that works and reset my Xbox multiple times to see if it was an issue with my console. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    My account is put in a family as a child with no adult.

    I have the exact same problem and my 360 account is locked due to a nonexistent parent account being invalid.

    I want to get onto my xbox live account but can't due to my parent account not being in use anymore. My microsoft account shows that I am above 18 but I still cannot agree to the terms of use.

    OK does it say not available in your region or 8015017? Or just invalid

    If the previous two it's an easy fix

    You must match your account location with your actual location

    If you live in Germany Japan or China the promotion is invalid due to the ban on the games

    If you don't live in an xbox live region you cannot get it if you are receiving the not available or 8015017 error

    No new code can fix that as it's an account location issue

    Due to licensing in different countries, XBox LIVE accounts cannot be migrated to a different region, and unfortunately, is due to the account being in the U.S. and you now reside in a different region. Those two cannot be intertwined.
