Cannot get into my minecraft Java Edition account

    Cannot get into my minecraft Java Edition account


    I recently migrated my mojang account to be able to play on a bedrock server with some friends. I've had no issues with being able to play on java servers and launching Java edition until now. I went to play and found I was logged out, and upon logging in it will only allow me to play a demo version of java, while still having the ability to play bedrock edition on the launcher. I just got on to play less than a week ago and it was fine, and now it is as though the account doesn't exist. I've tried resetting the password to see if I could get a confirmation email but to no avail. I have tried reinstalling the game to see if that fixed anything but to no avail. I cannot find any trace of my account ever existed though I know I literally was just on. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

    According to what's described on the Minecraft official page: "After you link a Minecraft: Java Edition account to a Microsoft Secure Account (MSA), the accounts are permanently linked and cannot be unlinked. "

    This means that the Xbox Online support team won't be able to do anything about the situation, and my advice would be to get in touch with them once again to see what can be done about the case.

    After migrating my mojang account I no longer own minecraft java edition.

    No the minecraft website does not show my account owning Java edition. I cannot change my skin or access my player name.

    So the issue is not to create the account now, is that you wanna get the Minecraft Java edition on your account

    Only the account that made the purchase of the bedrock edition can get the java edition for free

    Okay so you cannot purchase Java through Microsoft. You can only purchase (for now) Java edition through Mojang.com as is described here: How to Purchase Minecraft: Java Edition. Microsoft only sells the Windows 10 edition in our online stores and apps.

    Do you have the confirmation email for your purchase of Java edition? (Do not post here, only confirm or deny).
