Cannot get Discord account to Relink to Xbox

I’ve previously had no issues using Discord on my Xbox - but this evening it suddenly needs me to ‘re link account’. I’ve tried doing so on my xbox, through the xbox app, and through the discord app and nothing will work. It looks fine on the apps but on the xbox always says ‘Relink account’. I’ve fully unlinked and rekindled, re booted my Xbox and ensured the apps are up to date. I don’t really know what else to do to fix this so I can keep using discord to chat while playing xbox
