Cannot get any game to download or update.

I have tied many things and am now getting pissy. I was trying to download a new game and it just stopped downloading at 2% and did not move. I left it for many hours but still stuck at the same good old 2%. I tried to pause the download but just said pausing and deleting the download did the same thing. I then tried to download another app but same thing happened. It was around this time when I tried to play a already downloaded game but non of them would launch. I tried verifying the files but just says downloading and does nothing. I tried to repair and reset the Xbox app. I tried pretty much everything I could find from other people troubles. but nothings has worked. Its now hour 7 of trying to fix this so please help.

I understand you need help on your game issues.

Please try these steps:

Let's reset the Xbox app first then do a store reset as well.

Click Start and click Settings; Select Apps & features. Find the Xbox app and click Advanced options. Click Reset then also click repair.

Once done, please do this:

Click Start and search for wsreset, right click then open as admin, wait for the store to load up again.

Launch powershell as an administrator and enter “get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers”

In the same powershell window, enter “start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN”

Install the app on that page, including accepting the UAC prompt when shown.

Restart your PC then try installing the game again.

do you use a proxy Server?

maybe you can change your DNS Server in Xbox Dashboard to 8.8.8.8 (google dns). Then you will get another download server.

Press Windows Key + i and go to apps, search for ''Microsoft Store'' click ''advanced options'' and then ''terminate, repair and reset.

Windows key + i again and go to updates and security>troubleshooting>additional troubleshooting and run the troubleshooting for Windows Update and Windows Store apps.

After that, restart your PC install the Xbox app, and see if it resolves the issue.

Sorry to hear it. Please double check that the computer does not need any updates. If it does then update the computer then try downloading again.

If you still cannot download the games via the Xbox Beta App then please launch the Store App and try downloading the games from there.
