cannot get a teredo ip address

HI, my xbox one was setup and running completely fine up until about 3 three weeks ago. I bought cod advanced warfare and ever since then i havent been able to get a multiplayer connection. the xbox is still connected to the internet, i can access the store
see friends online etc and when i run the test network connection it says everything is fine. when i run the test multiplayer connection it says cannot get a teredo ip address, i spoke to xbox support and they said i had to open some 'ports' so ended up on
the phone to sky for three hours manually opening them only for that to not work. anyone know what i should do? anyone else had this problem and managed to fix it?

Cannot get a Teredo IP Address

I just ran a test with dmz set on my laptop's ip, and all xbox-related and teredo/ipsec related ports were open. and when i put the dmz on the xbox one's ip, still gives me the stupid cant find an teredo ip adress.... this is just beyond frustrating.

ive had this issue for 2 days now , will not connect to match making cannot get a Teredo IP address , its nothing to do with my router as it was working fine ,and no amount of changing settings inside it would help, this is a Microsoft xbox problem on there
end ,but when is it going to be sorted out god! knows ? refund

So if I understand you right, yu did not have that Teredo IP issue ever before that point? If so, please do a factory reset on your xbox One as this is the only solution on this issue. We had already some more reports on that problem, where they were no
problems before at all and then out of a sudden the users experienced Teredo IP errors. Only solution work9ing was always the factory rest of the One.

In case you had this problem already before please provide us with some more details on your network environment, especially what modem/router you are using and the steps you already have taken to solve your problem.

Pse see the given answer above. If this happens out of a sudden it may only be fixed by a factory reset.

EDIT: When I now run the multiplayer connection tests it is saying 'Cannot get a Teredo IP address'.

Calm stated: "Consequently a time capsule on a different ISP with no additional setup works fine." The reference to "a" TC leads me to believe it was not necessarily the same TC he is now using with Comcast. If it is not, then it may be that the other TC
has a different firmware revision that plays better with Teredo and the one he is using now has the flawed version referenced in the links I posted and/or is configured differently. Regardless, due to the nature of the problem, it is most likely an issue
with Calm's router settings. At most Comcast may be able to help walk Calm through configuring it, but it may be that a firmware update/downgrade of the TC is required...

If it was a TC problem GZA, Calm, surely would've got the same error when he tried the connection with a different provider. That's my reason in thinking it's an ISP issue and not the hardware.
