    Hi -

    I created an account for my 10 year old on our xbox one. My account was already there with xbox gold working regularly -- he's been using mine to play all kinds of multiplayer interactive games with no issue. I created a separate account for him so I could
    make use of parental controls. The console is set as my home xbox and his. Yet the xbox live subscription does not work on his account, only mine. I've logged out and in a dozen times. I've un-set it as my home console and re-set it. I've unplugged console
    for 3 minutes. I've chaned parental controls to essentially restrict no content. I've adjusted privacy settings to allow multiplayer games. Still nothing. Convinced now this is a problem with Xbox, not me. Anyone have solutions?

    Adding my partners Xbox 360 Username to the Xbox One

    If you are gold just add her account to the Xbox one using the 360 details then go to settings and add her id into family it will then grant her ID the same Gold status you have at no extra cost, All Family members on the console get the same gold status as the main ID

    If that is the case who gets to use their gold account on other machines? They've clearly said that. Just like now, your live subscription follows you to whatever Xbox console you use. So who on that original console can take their account to another console?

    Thanks. this was a 2nd console. so to download (and pay) again on the 2nd console, while the profile is on the account I cannot see the balance of the account download again. it doesnt seem to 'share' the account. how can i download and pay again using the
    family account?

    There's no family membership, but you can buy gold on one account and share it on the second console via the Home setting. https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/console/my-home-xbox

    So 1 account will buy the gold and set 1 console as their Home. The 2nd account will use the Home console and the 1st account will use the non-Home console. As long as they are signed into Live, the 1st account will be able to access Gold. They can both
    be signed in at the same time since they'd be on different accounts.

    If you make a family account you can share gold with the users. You I'll have to make 1 of the xbox ones the nine console. On the gone console anyone can use the gold features. On the second console ok nly the primary account can use the gold features.
    In order for one of the secondary account to use gold on the 2nd xbox the primary would also have to sign in.
