    Cannot gain access to deceast's brother's account...


    Hello, recently i was randomly logged out of my
    brother's account, which is my main xbox account i use since most of my games originate from that account. My brother is deceast and not with us anymore, and i have no idea on earth what his password is to log back onto the account since he never needed to
    tell me it. I am simply hoping to gain access to his account, what should i do here...?

    unfortunately no, if you cannot prove you own the account then microsoft will not help due to security, it is a nightmare issue to gain access to unknown accounts.

    If you can't gain access the account to manage the subscription, then the only other option is to have the banking institution cancel the card and block the Microsoft transaction. Unfortunately, that is your only option if you cannot access the account.

    Unfortunately, if you are unable to fill out the Microsoft Account recovery form to their liking and provide enough information then you won't be able to get access to that account again.

    That's going to be the one and only way you're going to be able to gain access to the account again since your brother used a fake e-mail to sign up.

    Hi there. To recover your account you will need to use the Windows Live ID and Password associated to it. If you can access the account using live.com I recommend you change your password as you said your console was stolen.

    If you cannot gain access to the account you should contact Xbox Support to see if they can gain access for you, or you could just make a new account as you said.
