cannot find the downloaded game

Hi all. I have brought a game from the xbox store yesterday. Very soon the download started when the purchase finished. I was doing some stuff while the game downloaded upto 60%. Then I have turned off the console to go to bed. Later this morning turned
on the xbox to see the games has disappeared. When i go on to the store and find my game it still says installed. Don't know if i should not have turned off the console while downloading something. Can someone please help me how to get my game back? Your help

Downloaded Game Problem

i downloaded full game of bayonetta from the market. but cannot play and now cannot find the downloaded game in either download active menu or in game library

We cannot find the games my son has downloaded on his Xbox 360. I went to download history and tried to download again but a message pops us that it cannot be downloaded again? Suggestios please! We can't even find the games that came with the cosole.

If you to My Games & Apps, is it not listed there?

If not, scroll to the right and you should see "Ready to Install". Leave the console alone for a couple minutes until that list populates and hopefully you will see the game you're looking for in that list. If so, simply hit A to download it.

It is not listed there in Games and Apps, not even seen as Ready to install. As I have already mentioned in the actual post, When I go on to the store and search for the game I brought. It shows as already installed. But I cant see that on my machine.

 

Forza Horizon 2 Storm iland

 

Okay, so I know the reason here: Storm Island is a DLC pack for Forza Horizon 2, it is not a full game in its own right. In order to access Storm Island, you need to own Forza Horizon 2 as well. You can access Storm Island from within Forza Horizon 2.

That is also why you cannot see it - in My Games & Apps you can only see full games, which Storm Island is not. In order to see Storm Island in My Games & Apps you would need to highlight Forza Horizon 2, hit Menu (three horizontal lines) and select Manage
Game and it would be on that sub-menu.

So essentially what you are saying is I will need to buy forza horizon 2 as well?

 

If you do not already own it, then yes. Storm Island will not work without the base game. Unlike Forza Horizon 2 Fast & Furious, Storm Island is a DLC pack and not a standalone game.

 

Thank you very much for your help. I have also brought Forza horizon fast and furious and installation is in progress. Glad to know that Fast and Furious is a stand alone game at least.

 

Yeah, Fast & Furious is its own game, a shorter but more intense version of the full Forza Horizon 2 with some of the cast from the films. It carries its own Gamerscore, is listed as a separate game in your achievements and is completely standalone. It's
fairly short (I think I finished it around the two-hour mark, although there was more exploring to be done if wanted) but it's quite fun and representative of the larger game.

Sorry the Storm Island situation is not what you were hoping for, but I'm happy I could provide you with an answer as to what was going on at least.
