cannot find an opponent in FIFA18 world cup mode

I cannot find an opponent in FIFA18 world cup mode(the screen display there are 140000+players in the mode),but can find opponent in season mode(the screen display there are only 3000 players in this mode.This is why,who can help me and answer my question.which
server are there the most players?Thanks !

Try clearing the cache.
Put your finger on the start button of the console for 10 seconds until it goes out.
Then wait another 30 and turn it on again.
After trying this, reinstall the game.
It may work for you

It's possible that no one is playing World Cup mode. They may only be playing the other online modes like Ultimate Team.
