Cannot "Enable Mods" on Oblivion

Thank you for reaching out to us about your issue!

Can you verify that you've updated your Xbox App and the Game Services to their latest versions? You can do that by following the steps below:

Open the Xbox App

• Click your profile icon at the top right corner of the page
  
• Select "Settings"
  
• Select "About" on the left panel
  

The first set of numbers under "Version" will display the current version of your Xbox App.

Current versions:

Xbox App: 2112.1001.10.0

Gaming Services: 3.60.12001.0

You can also try launching the game and playing it before trying to enable mods again.

Everything's up to date, and I have a couple hours on my save so neither is the problem.





Seems the problem had todo with this DWORD inside of the registry:

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System\EnableLUA

Changing EnableLUA from 0 to 1 seemed todo the trick.

Maybe something Microsoft should look into so others that are not so computer savvy don't have to deal with this stupid problem.
