Cannot Download Xbox Live Profile Continues...

As the previous post mentioned to start a new post if the error continues, i seem to have the similar problems like the others.

However, their problems are now fixed and i noticed that most of them are from US, UK, Europe, Canada etc. (countries that have Xbox One support).

Currently living in Asia, the problem persists. There's nothing else that I could do but wait for response.

So i tried t connect to the internet but it didnt let me. I deleted my profile and when i tried to redownload it from x/live it said that profiles cannot be downloaded, at the bottom it said the code
800704cd. Please help!!

 

DLC question

Are all the profiles on the same xbox?

If they are, it wont matter which profile you DL it under. If they are on different machines, you will need to use your kids machine to DL.

DLC is linked to both the machine and the gamertag. DLC can be played on all profiles on the machine that it was downloaded on without any issues.

You can also move the hard drive to another machine and play it on that however, you can only do that if you connect to live with the profile that downlaoded the DLC. You cannot play DLC by this method without being connected to live.

I am unaware of any previous post, can you tell me if you have deleted all signs of profile (not games) from your console before attempting to download it again?

Also, what error code are you seeing when you try to download your profile to your console?

well, i only deleted my profile and no one else profile.

error codes are 80072746 and 80072EFE.

Apparently most of their problems got solved except mine.

 

Ok there is a step that worked for others with the 80072746 code and I would like you to try it.

Miss Portia(official Xbox Support agent) advised someone to do the following:

1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and then select System Settings.
   
2. Select Network Settings.
3. Select Wired Network or the name of your wireless network, if you are prompted to do so.
   
4. Select Configure Network.
5. On the Basic Settings tab, select DNS Settings.
   
6. Select Manual.
7. Select Primary DNS Server.
8. Enter 8.8.8.8
9. Select Secondary DNS Server.
10. Enter 8.8.4.4
11. Select Done again.
12. Press the B button on your controller, and then select Test Xbox LIVE Connection.
    

Let me know what happens.

The Network Connection Test is all checked up, no error whatsoever.

 

Does this 80072EFE error came from Xbox One? If not, what is it and why did it happen?

 

I am having an identical problem since the 16th of April. Been in touch with the support team on Twitter with no luck. Even tried downloading profile on another console, get same error 80072746 all the time when the download is busy with the game content
download.

I am based in South Africa. This basically means the X360 is useless at the moment. My profile works fine on the Xbox One and I am able to perform purchases and play online.

Country: currently set to Singapore but live in Brunei

Modem/Router: N600 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit ADSL2+ Modem Router

Wireless: Internal (Xbox 360S)

Things tried: did the clear cache 3 times on internal and external drive. restart both modem router and xbox. set port forwarding and disable UPnP on modem router. did the LB RB X LB RB X on internal hard drive to redownload update. did the DMZ setting
and set the DNS to indicated address.



UPnP enabled: No, setting it to port forwarding instead.

seriously guys, it's 15 days for me and you can't even fix the problem you guys set up at?

I'm sorry to say that it looks like the issue lies with your console being located in a non-Xbox Live Supported Region. As you can see from our list of
Xbox Live Countries and Regions, Brunei is not supported at this time. Because of that, logging on from a location like Brunei won't yield predictable results and will severely limit our troubleshooting options.

At this point in time you've tried all steps that we can give you for downloading your profile in a non-Xbox Live Supported Region. If you are ever travel to an Xbox Live Supported Region, you can download your profile there. Or you can have a friend/family
member download your profile to a
USB Drive and send it to you.
