Cannot download XBOX live gold free games for 360

I activated a 14 days live gold code yesterday. I was able to get the XBOX One free gold games from my Xbox One console, but not the other two 360 games (Sacred 3 and Operation Flashpoint) which are supposed to be compatible with Xbox One as well.

I tried searching the games in Xbox One store, it says 'Bundle Only'. I tried queueing it up from the Xbox website, but it does not recognize my gold status and shows a $19.99 charge instead of FREE.

Today is the last day to get these two games. Any help would be appreciated.

Backward Compatibility

Every month I download 2 free games on Gold to my Xbox one, but, i cannot download the 360 games from Gold into my Xbox one for backward compatibility. How do i activate my Xbox One to start playing backward compatible 360 games.

 

Xbox One Free Games Problem

For whatever reason I cannot download free games with xbox live gold despite having xbox live gold. It defaults to other payments options and will not for the life of me allow me to download a free gold game. Has this happened to anyone else on Xbox One?
If so, how could I fix this? I see my friends currently on Evolve, but I cannot join them because I can't get the free game even with my gold membership that expires in december 2017.

 

Pretty sure 14 day trials don't count as GOLD, in the sense that you don't get GAMES WITH GOLD, at least for Xbox 360, I may be wrong though.

 

Irixion is correct. A Gold trial is not considered a full membership and is therefore exempt from the Games With Gold offer.

If you are able to download the games on the One then you must be sharing a membership with someone else.

 

I have a 360 but for some reason when I download Dirt Showdown on Xbox live which is the latest free game it didn't work. It downloads but when I open the game it displays an error.... can anyone help please. Thanks

@royal one thought is your console a shared home console ?

Home gold applies to all profiles so queueing a one game will work on the console regardless of the 14day trial.

But home gold doesn't work with 360 games only the master account can queue it from.the web

 

Home gold doesn't carry over to a 360 or the webmarketplace

 

So yes the charge is valid since you don't actually have an active membership

All purchases display the price

Home gold accounts cannot make purchases on the Web marketplace only on the home console
