Cannot download xbox 360 games onto my xbox one.

Hello I have a gold membership for xbox one. With it comes free 360 games every month. I try again and again to download 360 games from the store into my xbox one but I get a message something like this:"you are not allowed to make this type transaction
of on your xbox. Please do it on xbox.com".

I tried it there but still get the same message. I am disappointed because I've already lost out on the previous 2 months 360 games which is unfair because I've paid a lot for the subscription. Please help!

Can't claim free Battlefield 1 on Xbox 360 Games With Gold

Well one battlefield 1 is NOT an xbox 360 game

Therefore cannot be claimed on the xbox 360 or downloaded onto it

You have to download from the websiteas the 360 doesnt have access to the xbox one marketplace

GTA: San Andreas Backwards Compatible

Bought the digital copy of grand theft auto San Andreas a few months ago for

Xbox 360 and with it being backward compatibility now I thought I download it onto Xbox one. But i

cannot download it onto my Xbox one as it does not show up in my "Ready

to Install" section. Anyone know any solutions?

Hi, to download xbox 360 games on the xbox one or xbox.com, you need a credit card, and be over the age of 18, and your account has to match the physical region you are living in (in other words US account - US region). If you don't have a credit card,
then your only option is to download the game using an Xbox 360.

Yes. I can log in there, but need to log onto to the xbox 360 to play games and access other apps. I cannot download the profile onto the xbox 360.

It is really odd that the 360 version cannot be ordered.

Plus to consider that a digital download means we cannot resell.... So pure funding to the software industry

BTW will the 360 version allow download onto Xbox one and the encourage console sales?

And like many of us have said, you cannot put the games you have already downloaded onto a disc. You can download them ont oa USB drive and then move your account onto it or just recover your account onto it at another time. See my post above to see more
