cannot download video rented from XBox video

Discus and support cannot download video rented from XBox video in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I have rented some videos from X Box video.     cannot download video rented from XBox video


    I have rented some videos from X Box video. It asks if you want to watch online or download to watch later (i,e, on a plane). I choose this option and it starts the download. It immediately stops with an error that states "Can't download (no rights)"

    Microsoft charges for the rental, but cannot download.

    Any suggestions

    Just purchased movie rental, unable to download to console!!

    I rented it from Xbox video. I download, watch and delete. Just about to try again.

    What are you trying to send to your Surface? I think movies rented on Xbox Video cannot be sent.

    Movie rental will not play

    All of the above! Just rented the movie and cannot watch it. I either have to purchase it or it says to rent it again at xBox store.

    License for this video has expired. To play it, rent it again at the xBox Video Store.

    Using video app on windows 8 allows you to download purchased or rented movies.

    What are the expected behaviors of this ability. Or in other words what are the limitations to downloading the movie from the video app?
