    Cannot download to console via mobile app


    I am finding that a number of digital games that I pull up on the Xbox Mobile App do not show an option to download them to my console. It is for games that I own and those that I don't. For instance, Halo: The Master Chief Collection. I can find the game
    in the search, but when I select it, there is no green button to download to my console. Other games that I do not own, like Halo: 5 Guardians, do have the option to download to my console.

    Is it a ratings issue (one being T and the other M)? Is it a Studio issue (one being Microsoft and the other Xbox Games)?

    Xbox live

    You cannot use a hotspot to connect a mobile device to a console via the smartglass app. The console and mobile device must be connected to the same WiFi network.

    If pc you must sign in to download the games then she can use it on her own profile by signing into the xbox app after to play but she cannot download the games

    Home console is only an console feature

    Now concerning tablets or mobiles you would have to sign into xbox app as xcloud is subscriber only feature

    I believe you can download native captures from Console that are uploaded to Xbox Live via the Xbox app on mobile.

    Edit: Just checked, and if it's uploaded to Xbox Live you can go to the mobile Xbox App and then click "Captures" select the capture you want to download, click the "Share" button and it has an option to "Save" in there that will download it locally.

    I appreciate it! Let's try to install the games via Xbox App.

    Launch an Xbox App on your mobile device > Search for the game that you're having an issue with > Download to Console.

    I've tried via web, via mobile app and via Windows 10 Xbox app.

    Web give me the error in this thread.

    Mobile App - No purchase button appears

    Win10 App - No purchase button appears

    The only route I have not yet attempted is via the console itself as my console is in for repairs.
