Cannot download SSX

There was another thread with numerous people having this same problem, but the only real help I saw was to start a thread with my specific problem. So here is my problem. I signed up for XBox Gold couple of days ago. I downloaded the free tank game
with no problem. I tried to download the free SSX game, but I am having a problem. It downloaded to about 20%, but then stopped. Whenever I try to continue the download I get the message that I can't download SSX. There is an orange exclamation point before
SSX under my download.

Again, there was another thread with numerous people having this problem. Has XBOX live staff looked into what may be causing this problem?

Error code 800700E when downloading purchased content

Well i can´t download SSX either. It doesn´t even start the download. Maybe they just *** up the service.

 

do all your regions match, I mean does the region of your console, account and physical location match. if not that may be the issue as some games are region locked. if you are in USA and your account is UK it won't work.

 

I read about that on this forum so that was the first thing I checked. I have tried everything to make this work. Sometimes it will start to download and then stop.

 

I can download apps with no problem and again world of tanks downloaded with no problem. This is really frustrating. I certainly will not pay any money for games until I know they will download.

 

Deleted the partially downloaded file and was then able to get it to download.
