I have this problem: When I click download it says: this game's region does not match this console ?

What... how do I fix this ? Please help

Sleeping Dogs Download Help

I have the same problem. I'm downloading Sleeping Dogs from Live BR and the download stops at 64%. When I try downloading it again, an error message shows up: Can't download Sleeping Dogs.

Please solve this!

 

Is the country your tag set up for the same as the country you live in? If not, that could be the problem as some games have an issue with being downloaded to different country IP addresses

 

region locked any help ??? thats not fair at all i really want this game ://

 

If your tags are set up as I explained earlier you can migrate them back to your own countries.

I'm having the same Problem. little Info: i have a american xbox but live in Germany. My Gamertag is set to Germany, I migrated maybe a year ago. My Region settings on my xbox are set to germany as well.

I could download all other Games for Free and never had a Problem!!!

I just don't understand why it's only a Problem with this game!

 

In some cases the games available in different regions vary and alternatives are offered.

If the game is available in your location, try the following:

Region:

Both your region and location must be the same to access certain content and validate downloads or play restricted games etc.

If your location and region are not the same you can amend by following these steps:

support.xbox.com/.../change-region

Please note disc based games must be compatible with your consoles region.

Alternatively, if an issue with the game itself:

Some people have had issue if they have downloaded the demo and have a saved demo file.

If this is the case for any of you try deleting both the demo and any saves and download the full version again.

Please also delete any free dlc as this has caused a couple of issues, the content can be reinstalled when your game is up and running.

Other fixes include selecting ms points rather than credit cards as the payment option (some of you are doing this by the sounds of it)

Finally try the old favourite of clearing you cache as below:

support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache

 

I am having this problem! I am using a European Xbox purchased in the UK that I have brought to Canada. The region has been changed to Canada approximately 8 months ago or so.

When I try and download the game it says that the disc region is not available in your area. I have tried to download via the pc and I get the same message.

I have been able to download and play it if i log into a friends Canadian xbox. This then allows me to download it to my European Xbox, but once complete and I press "play now" I get the error message: The discs region code is incorrect.

Any solutions? Thanks!

 

Solution would be to buy a Canadian Xbox.

Some games require the console to be in the same region as the disc or download

Because you are trying to play a ntsc content on a pal console it won't work

However sleeping dogs is also region locked so you need to be in uk to use it along with your uk console

Cheapest solution buy a Canadian console
