Cannot download saints row IV

So I've seen a couple other people with this issue but I could find a fix so please could you respond if you know what's up. When I try to download saints row IV it's says "your account cannot make this type of purchase. Please do it from your Xbox". This
makes no sense since I'm on my Xbox. I try and buy it from Xbox.com and Xbox 360 but it says the same thing each time.

I recommend checking out Saints Row, Saints Row II, Saints Row: The Third, and Saints Row IV. All great open world video games to play on the 360.

 

Dead Rising 3 gets 13 GB patch ahead of first DLC expansion

Very huge 13GB. And that's a patch? Man, that's the size of Saints Row IV already on Steam. Well, looks like we're about to see what patching future is going to be like., I just hope the patches don't reach beyond that. I'd hate to download a 40GB patch for a game I could download like Saints Row IV.

This means you are using a Child Account which is unable to make purchases or downloads of M-Rated (18+) titles. Even if your parents have given you permissions, the Xbox One and Xbox 360 operate on different marketplaces. There are only two ways to download
the game in this case: 1) Have a parent account with it's own Gold membership (not Shared) sign in and download the game OR 2) Download it from an Xbox 360.

Actually you can now but I think it depends on where you live.

You may be able to change the date of birth on your account:

You are an adult but your account is categorised as a child account

If you live within the US

In this case, the date of birth on your account is incorrectly indicating that you're younger than 18 (20 in South Korea and Japan). If you live in the United States, you can correct your date of birth online. Here's how:

1.In a browser, go to My Account.

2.If needed, sign in to the Microsoft account you want to change.

3. Select Your info, and then select Edit your personal info.

4. Enter your correct date of birth.

5. Follow the instructions to provide a US credit card as age verification.

If you live outside the US

If you live outside the United States and do not have a valid US credit card, or your account is subject to US COPPA restrictions (under 13 years old), follow the instructions at windows.microsoft.com/.../child-birthdate-microsoft-account
