Cannot download profile.

Please can someone help me with this issue. as the customer support centre based in the philippines is awful. They seem clueless and rude.

I'm pretty sure they blocked my account after I requested an employee number. Which is extremely unprofessional.

1) I've been made to wait weeks before hearing anything back.

2) Was never given a support ticket number no to being with. I'm not explaining myself to support people again and again.

3) Manager "gino" was extremely rude and talks over you.

4) After answering the call, they are silent until you press a digit on the phone.

5) They misinformed me about my store credit and made out I could not use it, causing me to miss out on a game I really wanted.

6) When they have no idea what to do they simply say "will forward it to our engineers"

The issue

This occurs when I try to redownload my profile after deleting it at the behest of the manager "gino" advising me to. I never ever had an account issue until I contact the call center and had a difference of opinion with the manager, now it gets this error
and he tells me "there is an error mismatch with the date of birth on your account" - Which is false and a total cop out.

I've been a loyal customer and user of Xbox live for years now and would like some actual support from someone who knows on how to fix this please. Thank you.

So i tried t connect to the internet but it didnt let me. I deleted my profile and when i tried to redownload it from x/live it said that profiles cannot be downloaded, at the bottom it said the code
800704cd. Please help!!

Red Dead Redemption Error Message Help

I popped in my copy of RDR and everything went fine, but when I got to the main menu it stated I had to download a profile in order to save.

So I sign in, get the "hi Tony72495!" message, and it starts downloading my profile info.

Then when it gets to about 75%, an error message pops up that says "Sorry, Xbox Live profiles cannot be downloaded right now. Try again later" and I'm kicked back to the start menu.

I'm using the 2 disc GOTY edition of that makes any difference.

Perform a hard reset EXACTLY like this.

Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

If you read my original post, I have already contacted support directly. Hence why I am posting here. Turning it off and on again doesnt work either.

Cannot re load my profile to Xbox live

I am connected via ethernet cable. This is a brand new hard drive that I'm trying to download my profile to.

Hey Pingston, really sorry to hear about the profile issue! To be sure, are you receiving an error code at all? If so, what is it? If the download is simply 'hanging' or freezing without an error code, would you be able to connect directly to your console
directly to your modem with an Ethernet cable, to see if that allows the download to complete?

With the Xbox turned off, could you start by
safely remove the hard drive and add it back.

Go through the instruction steps up front and in given order and let us know how that goes and we'll go from there.

your profile instead of your Microsoft account password. Here's how!

Can you verify that you have updated the security proofs like phone numbers, alternate email addresses, and security questions and answers to your Microsoft
account. This information is essential to ensure that your account is well protected and meets the security standars that Microsoft now provides.

With your security proofs being updated, let's focus on the next steps and in given order: Delete Profile Only
(make sure it is completely removed) from the Xbox storage device, clear system cache (three times in a row) and finally,recover your profile from LIVE.

How to delete Xbox LIVE profile safely

Before you delete your profile you have to know the username and password for your Microsoft account that is associated with your profile.

Go to Settings, and then select System.
Select Storage.
Select All Devices.
Select Gamer Profiles.
Select the gamertag that you want to delete.
Select Delete.
Select Delete Profile Only. This deletes the profile but leaves saved games and achievements.

Clear Xbox system cache (3 times in a row)

Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.
Select Storage or Memory.
Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller.
Select Clear System Cache.
Important: Clear your Xbox system cache 3 times in row.

Restart your console.

Download Xbox LIVE profile.

Press the Xbox Guide button on your controller (large X button in the center of your controller).
Select Download Profile.
Enter the Microsoft account associated with your Xbox LIVE gamertag.
Enter your Microsoft account password.

Please let us know how that goes and we'll work from there.
