Cannot Download Profile

Attempting to start any of the Xbox 360 Rare Replay games, but I am unable to download my profile. After it tells me I cannot download my profile, it tells me to test my connection, which is successful. I have tried a wired and wireless connection. I have
also tried to delete my Xbox 360 local content, as suggested by another user. I am using an Xbox One account that once used an Xbox 360 and played some of these games. Rare Replay hub shows proper achievements.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

So i tried t connect to the internet but it didnt let me. I deleted my profile and when i tried to redownload it from x/live it said that profiles cannot be downloaded, at the bottom it said the code
800704cd. Please help!!

Red Dead Redemption Error Message Help

I popped in my copy of RDR and everything went fine, but when I got to the main menu it stated I had to download a profile in order to save.

So I sign in, get the "hi Tony72495!" message, and it starts downloading my profile info.

Then when it gets to about 75%, an error message pops up that says "Sorry, Xbox Live profiles cannot be downloaded right now. Try again later" and I'm kicked back to the start menu.

I'm using the 2 disc GOTY edition of that makes any difference.

Let's try to clear the Xbox 360 cache on the console.

1. Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide. (Note Double-tapping the Xbox button will open the guide from any other screen on the console.)

2. Select Settings.

3. Select All settings.

4. Select System and then select Storage.

5. Select Clear local Xbox 360 storage.

6. Select Yes and restart the console. This will not affect your cloud saved games or Xbox One games and profiles.

Hi Mister Mascot,

I attempted that with Xbox Live support, last night. Unfortunately, it did not work. Other things I have attempted on my own or with Xbox One support:

- Reset Xbox One (minus games and apps)/

- Clear MAC address.

- Remove and readd my Xbox Live profile.

- Hard reset the Xbox One.

- Clear the Xbox 360 storage cache on the Xbox One.

- Reset my router.

- Put my Xbox One IP in the DMZ.

- Temporarily disable two-factor authentication.

- Attempted to login from the Xbox 360 menu.

- Attempt to connect via both wireless and wired connection.

There might be a few other things I am forgetting.

Oh no, sorry to hear that didn't work out. Thanks for all of the detailed information as well. Which Brand of Modem and Router are you using? Can you provide the model number? Are any Backward Compatible games working for you currently? Do you have an Xbox
360 and are able to sign in to the game on that console?

Cannot re load my profile to Xbox live

Hey Pingston, really sorry to hear about the profile issue! To be sure, are you receiving an error code at all? If so, what is it? If the download is simply 'hanging' or freezing without an error code, would you be able to connect directly to your console
directly to your modem with an Ethernet cable, to see if that allows the download to complete?

With the Xbox turned off, could you start by
safely remove the hard drive and add it back.

Go through the instruction steps up front and in given order and let us know how that goes and we'll go from there.

*If you have the two-step verification turned on/enabled for your Microsoft account, then you need to Create a new app password under App passwords. You will then use this new generated app password to sign in or download
your profile instead of your Microsoft account password. Here's how!

Can you verify that you have updated the security proofs like phone numbers, alternate email addresses, and security questions and answers to your Microsoft
account. This information is essential to ensure that your account is well protected and meets the security standars that Microsoft now provides.

With your security proofs being updated, let's focus on the next steps and in given order: Delete Profile Only
(make sure it is completely removed) from the Xbox storage device, clear system cache (three times in a row) and finally,recover your profile from LIVE.

How to delete Xbox LIVE profile safely

Before you delete your profile you have to know the username and password for your Microsoft account that is associated with your profile.

Go to Settings, and then select System.
Select Storage.
Select All Devices.
Select Gamer Profiles.
Select the gamertag that you want to delete.
Select Delete.
Select Delete Profile Only. This deletes the profile but leaves saved games and achievements.

Clear Xbox system cache (3 times in a row)

Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.
Select Storage or Memory.
Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller.
Select Clear System Cache.
Important: Clear your Xbox system cache 3 times in row.

Restart your console.

Download Xbox LIVE profile.

Press the Xbox Guide button on your controller (large X button in the center of your controller).
Select Download Profile.
Enter the Microsoft account associated with your Xbox LIVE gamertag.
Enter your Microsoft account password.
