    Cannot Download 'Just Cause 2'


    Hello,

    I purchased this game and after about 15 minutes or so into the download I got a notification pop-up saying that the game could not be downloaded. I went tried again and nothing. I then went to the xbox support pages on this site and followed their steps(delete
    the partial download, refresh cache, re-start and download again) but I am still getting nothing even after 3 attempts. The furthest I have gotten is 12% and then it says it cant download.

    I have background downloads on and have left it to do its thing when I have gone to sleep or gone to work and still noting. The game is roughly 4 gigs and I have a little over 91 gb available. Does anyone know how to get this game to work?

    I cannot download Just Cause 2!!!

    Just because the usb is new doesn't mean that it is not causing the issue. What brand is it? Can you try formatting it on your pc before using it on the console?

    Definitely that couldnt be a problem because my USB is new and didnt have anything on it, is there any way to show this for a staff member?

    Cannot Download 'Just Cause 2'

    I was having this problem now that Just Cause 2 is free on games with gold. I went to the xbox marketplace website on my computer, and after may security codes being sent to my email, I logged in and manually re-downloaded the game. it sent it to the download
    cue on my console and it seems to be working.

    When having issues its best to create your own thread as your settings would be different

    Ok op please answer the following questions

    What is your account region?

    What is your actual region ? Us foreign bases dont count as usa fyi

    If those two dont match that would be why

    To download this game your account region must reflect your actual region

    Speedtest.net result and connection type

    Are you sure that is the cause? I have Xbox 1 and 360. Both bought in US and i have US live account. I live in India now. I have no problem downloading the Games with Gold on Xbox1. But i am unable to download games with gold for 360. I could not download
    last month's mafia and this months just cause.

    I suggest making a new xbox account and setting your region to India and downloading the game that way

    It might have something to do with the USB drive then. Are you able to try borrowing a friends official Xbox hard drive or purchase one for use?
