Cannot download GTA IV

I recently purchased GTA IV and everytime the download hits 80%, i get a "GTA IV cannot be downloaded" message,

HELP!!!!!! Xbox Stores: Cannot Play GTA IV

my brother downloaded GTA IV on our xbox, on his account (we each have our own accounts). The one day i was deleting some old games and then i accidently deleted GTA IV on my account. I downloaded the game again on my brothers account and now wen i try playing
GTA IV on my account it says Xbox Sore: Cannot Plat GTA IV. My brother had license transfored to a friend so he can play GTA from my brothers account

 

Have you check on your hard drive if you have enough space to download this game??

 

Yes. I have about 200 GB to download the game, but apparently i must use a proxy to download it because it is region locked on the north america.

 

What region are you in? I would assume that you are not in North America given that you say you need to use a proxy to get the NA download. Have you considered migrating your console/account region to match your actual location so that you don't have this
type of trouble when downloading content?

 

No, but i'll try later. The proxy one is the most logical since i had a same issue and only could download by proxy.

 

I just wanted to chime in here as well to let you know that a proxy may not work as well. This is because some content that is region locked cannot be downloaded to regions outside of where it was originally intended no matter how you try.
