Cannot Download Gamer Profile

I've been having this problem since yesterday and have not been able to fix it.

Basically, I had to change the email address associated with my Xbox profile due to "attempt logins" on my Live account. So I made a new account with a new email, and transferred to that account.

Both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One wouldn't let me login since this change, so I had to delete my account from the Xbox One and re-download. All works well, the account is fine and everything is all good.

Re-downloading my profile to the Xbox 360 however, is proving to be 100% impossible so far. After many "Your Xbox cannot connect to the network" type errors and running the network test.. which always passes... I finally got it connecting to the network
and Xbox Live. But I still cannot download my profile.

What happens is... well, it simply crashes the Xbox 360. Just crashes as it tries load the profile. This is before it even tries to download it. It crashes while the circular loading symbol is on-screen. Once it crashes, nothing works and I have to force
a power off.

Things I have tried to fix this:

- Tried downloading to the Xbox 360 HDD - FAILED

- Tried downloading to an Xbox formatted USB drive without Xbox HDD - FAILED

- Tried downloading to an Xbox formatted USB external HDD without Xbox HDD - FAILED

- Tried downloading via a wireless connection - FAILED

- Tried downloading via a wired connection - FAILED

- Tried downloading after clearing the cache - FAILED

- Tried downloading after removing dashboard updates and re-installing - FAILED

- Tried downloading to a friends Xbox 360 - FAILED

- Tried downloading to a friends Xbox 360 with MY Xbox HDD - FAILED

- Tried downloading to a newly purchased Xbox 360 E with MY Xbox HDD - FAILED

As you can see, I've tried everything I can think of. And every attempt just crashes the Xbox 360. It's crashed every Xbox I've tried to download it on, two Xbox 360 S's and one Xbox 360 E. It's always the same result.

Is my profile really badly corrupt or something? I mean, the same profile is working absolutely fine on the Xbox One.

And what does this mean for all the content I've purchased? Everything is locked under my original GamerTag, which means I cannot access any of it if I create a new one, which at this point in time it looks like I'm going to have to do. As I said, my original
GamerTag still works on the Xbox One, I just cannot restore it to the Xbox 360, where all my game saves, purchased games and DLC reside.

If anyone has any information they can provide which will help me recover my profile, that would be fantastic. I really do not wish to lose everything all because of something that, as it seems, is a problem on Microsoft's end.

So i tried t connect to the internet but it didnt let me. I deleted my profile and when i tried to redownload it from x/live it said that profiles cannot be downloaded, at the bottom it said the code
800704cd. Please help!!

Gamer profile issue

I have a major issue with my gamer tag, it looks like it has privacy settings of a child. Wont let me play online :-( . Anybody got any solutions, at my wits end

Also, since I cannot sign in with my original GamerTag, I cannot transfer licences of my purchased games to my new GamerTag. So it seems, as I thought, every single game I've ever purchased in the past 8 years is gone. All my full games, arcade games and
all my DLC is lost, unless by some miracle it becomes backwards compatible with the Xbox One.

I also cannot transfer my game saves to the cloud for BC games, such as Gears of War.

If this is the case, and I genuinely have lost all my purchases, I will, for the first time ever, be disappointed in Microsoft. I can't help but feel my profile "corruption" is their fault, or at least on their end. And I would like something done if I have
indeed lost every purchase, because all that money.... wasted.

Nevermind... managed to fix it.

Even though the details I was using to download my profile were correct, I am guessing Microsoft did not think so. I was able to use the same email/password to sign into the Xbox One, as well the Microsoft and Xbox sites.

All I did was change the password AGAIN and tried to download the profile AGAIN. This time, the it worked. So what... two days of trying and all I had to do was change my password despite having already changed it? Well, despite having created a new email
address with a new password?

Anyway.. I now have different problems regarding the Xbox One and connecting to Live. I'll post that in the correct section though. Thanks.

Hey there.

The error status code that you're receiving means that the e-mail and password combination you've used is incorrect. More info on this error status code can be found

here.

Is the gamertag you're trying to log into the same one that you used to post with? My first two solutions that come to mind are to
reset your password (even if the credentials you're trying to use are working on here) or to check on the
Windows Solution Center.

Accessing Xbox LIVE will also soon (if not already) require that you have two proofs enabled on your Microsoft account. (Alternate e-mail, phone number, trusted PC, etc...) You can also set these up by going to
http://account.live.com.

Hey bann, so it sounds like you cannot download your profile, correct? I'm curious, if you look at Gamer Profiles under 'Memory,' do you see any corrupted files, or any files with an exclamation point next to them? If so, can you please delete that, and
then try re-downloading your profile?
