Cannot download game, download stops after 80%

Hi

I have two Xbox 360, one in Barcelona and one in Denmark.



I bought a game on my Xbox in Barcelona and then this week I am in Denmark and wanted to download the game to the Xbox.



I have done all the updates on my Xbox, the internet speed is 45mb/9Mb so that should not be the issue.



I have tried 10+ times and every time the same result after 80% it stops and say 'Cannot download content'.

I have tried all options that I have been able to find on the net.

Is there a way to get detailed information on why the download fails?

The reason you may be experiencing this sort of issue is because your region is not officially supported by Xbox LIVE. If a game is not available in your region you're going to have issues purchasing and downloading games in that region.

Unfortunately, there's no way to resolve this issue as you have a region mismatch. I suggest from this point forward if you're not able to make a LIVE account in your own region to only purchase disc based games and not anything from the marketplace as there's
no way to know which games will give you this issue and which won't. There are also no refunds on digitally purchased items on the marketplace.

 

i guess it could be regional error, either by game is not available or by game language does not match

 

It is indeed a region error. Because the item was purchased in a different region you will have issues attempting to download it to your other console. Perhaps see about putting it on a USB stick or bringing the hard drive with you next time you change
regions.
