cannot download free demos

Hi,

I've just bought a xbox 360 and a kinect.

I also have a free xbox live account

I wanted to download free demos of games, but it's seems it's not possible if I don't give my credit card number.

But why, as the demos are free.

Could someone help me?

Can not download

If you're under 18, you cannot download M rated free demos and trailers. There are no settings to change that.

 

Account not permitted to access M-rated content.

If it's a free trailer then you won't be permitted to download it. Even with settings set to adult, if you're under 18 you cannot download free M rated demos and trailers.

There's your problem. You need a gold account to download most demos.

 

I could always download demo`s as a silver member.

Its only when they first get released that you have to wait a while.

@almandin,have you tied downloading the free full games like doritos crash course or harms way?
