    Cannot download Forza Horizon 4 on hard drive


    I spent hours searching for an answer On reddit, on here, contacted Microsoft through phone for an hour, but nothing.

    To give some background, I downloaded Forza Horizon 4 on my 1 TB hard drive when I had Xbox Game Pass last year. But, I deleted the game when my membership expired. Just this Christmas I bought Forza Horizon 4 to own it however I accidentally downloaded it to my SSD. It wasn't a problem until now where I am very low on space.

    I decided to delete the game yesterday and redownload it to my 1 TB Hard drive because for some reason I could not move it through Settings > System > Storage > and Apps & Features.

    However, when I go to the Microsoft Store and select the hard drive, I hit the download button but nothing happens. It isn't greyed out, but clicking it does not do anything. I suspect that it might be a corrupted file in WindowsApps so I deleted the Windows.SunriseBaseGame (According to online research). That didn't work either...

    If anyone could assist me on this, I would greatly appreciate it!

    Forza Horizon DLC Version "Disc unreadable error"

    Hi, it could be that that part of the game is installed on a bad sector of your hard drive. What you need to do is delete Forza Horizon, then download some demos to approx the same size of Forza Horizon. Once they have downloaded, then redownload Forza
    Horizon. That way the Forza is on a different part of the Hard Drive, and hopefully your problem will be fixed.

    Forza Horizon 5 is not able to download to an external drive.

    All of my Microsoft and Xbox games are downloaded on my external drive including the previous Horizon, which is Forza Horizon 4. I changed where new apps are stored when downloaded from the Microsoft store to my external drive but it still wont download Forza Horizon 5 to my external drive. On the Xbox app it wont show my external drive as an option to download to. I am able to download any game from the Microsoft store and Xbox app to my external drive except Forza Horizon 5.

    Is there a way to change the driving side for Forza horizon 4?

    There's no settings to change what side of the road you drive on, if the games locations is set to a country where they drive on the left, then you drive on the left, if it's set to a country where they drive on the right, you drive on the right,

    Forza Horizon is set in the USA and drives on the right,

    Forza Horizon 2 is set in Europe and drives on the right,

    Forza Horizon 3 is set in Australia and drives on the left,

    Forza Horizon 4 is set in the UK and drives on the left,

    and where ever Forza Horizon 5 will be set, we'll drive to that country's side of the road.

    downloaded game not working

    A common problem which sometimes is easy to fix. Your best bet would be to delete the game, then download 1 or 2 demos that are the same size as forza horizon (Your talking about 5 or 6GB). Once the demos have finished downloading, then redownload forza
    horizon. The reason to do this is so Forza Horizon is installed to a different part of your hard drive. Which then will hopefully fix your problem.
